The Content Creators Alliance (CCA) was founded by Jakob Frimann Magnusson and Guy Garcia.


Jakob Frímann Magnússon, a member of the Icelandic Parliament since 2021, is a composer, keyboard player, film director and producer. In Iceland he is best known as the keyboardist and one of the founders of the multiartistic band Stuðmenn, with which he has so far produced 16 albums as of 2017. He has also directed, produced and starred in several films, and released several solo albums with a number of famous jazz musicians from the United States. For a period of the 1990s he was the cultural attaché of the Icelandic embassy in London. Since 2002, aside from playing in Stuðmenn and recording new albums, Jakob Frímann is the co-owner and manager of the advertisement agency Bankastræti in Reykjavík.


Guy Garcia is an award-winning author, futurist, and mixed-media entrepreneur who has created ground-breaking websites and videos. He wrote and directed The Swarm Experience, a virtual reality immersive 360 that was featured at the Sundance Film Festival VR bar. He is the author of The New Mainstream and The Decline of Men, and his work has been featured in Time, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Fortune, and Rolling Stone. Recognized for his commentaries on socio-economic trends, he has appeared on NPR, ABC, ABC World News Tonight, CNBC, PBS, and New York One. His latest book, _SWARM_, a science-fiction thriller published by Morphic Books, has spawned a mixed reality platform that includes "A Brief History of Mind Control" and the "Declaration of the Independence of Mindspace" at
